Why do you need to do a presentation?

Task 1- 5mins Find yourself a presentation partner!
Discuss how you and your partner can help each other. How can you offer support?
Task 2- 15mins Working in with your partner make a list of all the things you can do to make your presentation distinction quality:
D3 present and review design outcomes imaginatively, using graphic media, techniques and technologies.
Your presentation should include the following:
- Examples of inspiring artists/designers work
- Observational drawings & initial ideas (scanned)
- Final Developed Designs
- Feedback from your peers
Then feedback to the group and share your ideas.
Task 3- 40mins Use the laptops provided to start your preparation in any of the following ways:
- Create a folder to save evidence in (but save it on the server so you can access it on other macs)
- Copy evidence into the folder that you might use for your presentation- internet research images, scans of work in your sketchbook, primary photos etc
- If possible you should present your work in a POWERPOINT presentation so that it can be projected for the class to see.
- The presentation will be recorded as part of your assessment for the unit.
Plenary- 10mins Group feedback. What problems might you have preparing your presentation? How you can you make it's distinction quality?
