Review of experimentation
Starter
Group exhibition of experiments- show all 3 experiments (2 from lesson and 1 homework).
Discuss as a group what worked well and how they could be used to develop a successful poster design.

Review of experiments
Answer the following questions about your 3 chosen artists and related experiments. Present a written account in your book. Include images where possible to compare your work with others.
Plenary
How well have you met the assessment criteria? As a group discuss how to meet the M&D criteria and identify if you're successfully doing it.
LESSON 2
Mindmap moodboards- 2 in 1 research!
Research and collect a range of images and samples to reflect your favourite 2 materials/techniques. For example 1x moodboard of illustration and 1x moodboard of paper cutting.
Present them in your sketchbook with mindmap information including:
- Names of artists/designers
- Materials you would use
- Key words to describe the technique
You can include print outs, magazine images, photos, typography, colour samples, found objects etc.

LESSON 3
1. Poster research
Search and select 2 posters that you will analyse as homework. Print them out ready to stick in your book.
2. Poster ideas
Roughly draw out initial ideas for your poster. Think about the layout of images and text. What might you include? Capture as many variations as possible.
3. Sketchbook surgery!
Now is your chance to print things out, stick things in, annotate and finish off anything that needs doing in your sketchbook.
Poster analysis. Write an in-depth analysis for the 2 chosen poster examples you researched in todays lesson.
