Choosing your artist! Write your top 3 choices on a post-it note. We'll compile a list on the board and note everyone's 1st choices. If more than one person choose the same artist we'll consider 2nd and 3rd choices.

Set checklist for success, what do we need to do over half term? How many pages do we need to leave to make sure our books have a sequence?
As you work in this lesson your books will be checked and feedback given, this lesson will be a silent study lesson, to ensure you get the feedback required to ensure you have a successful half term. Do you need extra sessions to catch up? You can put yourself on LIP!
TASK 1- Word Clouds 20mins
Compile a word cloud for your chosen artist using this link-http://www.abcya.com/word_clouds.htm
Print out your cloud and present it in your book. Whilst researching for your word cloud you should consider collecting images for your moodboard (see below).
TASK 2- Moodboard 20mins
Present a select of images to represent your artist. You can include images of their work but also put it into context with images of their home country, news stories etc.
PLENARY- 5mins
