- Complete a Michelle Thompson inspired collage in the first part of the lesson. ( the extension task from Monday's Collage lesson that you all wanted to do).
- Research artists books and make a moodboard of images that inspire you.
STARTER TASK THIS LESSON:20mins
Use the first part of this lesson to quickly idscuss with your peers how they made their Michelle Thompson collage and then make one yourself.
The steps are simple, the effect easy to achieve, the outcome is impressive (if your peers don't help you then the steps are below this picture!).
1 Scan in your collages
2 Use your Rauschenberg as a background
3 Cut out elements of your other collages and place onto your Rauschenberg (using the square marquee tool to select elements and the move tool to move into your other collage).
4 Use the layer blending otions on your placed images to merge then into your Rauschenberg, or just leave some to sit on top.
EXTENSION:
Type in text from your journey to create further interest
You could print out your final piece and then draw on top, making another process
