Graphics Week 4- Presentations


P1 investigate graphic media, techniques and technology

LESSON 1

Sketchbook preparation
Prepare your sketchbook and all your work so far for assessment and feedback. 
  • Glue all loose paper in
  • Add page titles where necessary
  • Add annotations to explain your thoughts and ideas
  • Ensure all pages are complete and up to date
Presentation preparation
Prepare your sketchbook and yourself! Next lesson you'll be presenting your work to the rest of the group. Your presentation should include the following:
  • Your logo design process from start to finish including research
  • Annotations to explain your ideas at every stage
  • Developed logo design including colour variation printouts
  • Final logo design
The presentation will be recorded as part of your assessment for the unit. 

Your Tilgate work must be presented in your book but won't be included in your presentation.

Relate your work to the assessment criteria above. Have you done the best you can?

LESSON 2


Logo presentations
Present your ideas and designs to the rest of the group. 

Homework 
Tilgate review.
Create a new blog post titled 'Tilgate research trip' and write a review of your visit. Include the following points:

  • What was the purpose of the trip? How does it relate to your project brief?
  • What is Tilgate Park? Describe the attractions and facilities. Who does it attract and how?
  • What branding/marketing/promotion did you see? Leaflets, souvenirs, signage etc
  • Describe the main features of the park. Animals, plants, scenery, attractions etc
  • Did you enjoy your visit? Were you inspired?
Include some of your photos to show some highlights of your visit.
