Photo WK:2





LESSON OBJECTIVES:
  1. Investigate photographic media, techniques and technology by discovering rules of composition
  2. Use photographic media, techniques and technology safely by recording first part of 7 day shot
  3. Know about the characteristics and properties of photographic materials and understand own use of photographic media, techniques and technology by making record of journeys round collage, recording findings in sketchbooks and relating to the work of William Eggleston
  4. Learners to see work of William Eggleston, discuss how it is made and how it relates to the14 day photo challenge and record on smart board.

Extension:
Extend learner higher order understanding by discussing how to make your response more personal 

STARTER
Learners to see work of William Eggleston, discuss how it is made and how it relates to the14 day photo challenge and record on smart board.



TASK:1
Learners to see AND discuss use of composition & rule of thirds of enlargers and record findings in books.



TASK:2
Learners to use rest of lesson to upload first seven photos of seven day challenge, create contact sheet and annotate with new knowledge of composition.



Homework / Plenary:
Learners to discuss work and share peer feedback on progress.

HOMEWORK: Make sure all contact sheets are printed for next lesson.

Start collecting old holiday photographs and holiday memorabilia
